UPDATE: Rachael has been traced safe and well.
CONCERN is growing for a missing Midlothian teenager who may have travelled to Glasgow.
Rachael Lawrie has been reported missing from the Newbattle area after she went to school as normal on Thursday morning.
The 14-year-old was then seen in Newbattle Road at around 11.50am walking towards Easthouses.
Police say they are concerned for Rachael's welfare and are appealing for help to find her.
She has connections in Lanark and Dunfermline, and officers believe she could have travelled to the Glasgow area.

Sergeant Ross Falconer said: "Rachael has been reported missing before and we are concerned for her well-being and would ask anyone who has seen her or knows where she might be to get in touch.
"She has connections in Lanark and in Dunfermline and may have travelled to the Glasgow area.
"If you can help please call us on 101, quoting reference number 1296 of Thursday, May 26, or get in touch with any police officer."
Rachael is described as being around 5ft 5ins tall with long, fair hair.
It is not known what she was wearing when she was last seen.
