SHOCKING footage shows the remnants of a fire at a notorious 'drinking den' near Glasgow.
Emergency crews rushed to a wooded area in Lenzie where a fire was set by a group of people.
East Dunbartonshire Police confirmed that their community officers were there over the weekend and had assisted fire crews who were putting out the blaze.
Multiple fire appliances were on the scene targeting the blaze.
Video footage shared by the cops shows a large mound of tree branches with a fire burning in the centre.

Around the firepit lies discarded empty alcohol cans and smashed glass.
Officers believe the area, at Meadowburn Avenue, to be used as a 'drinking den'.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We were called around 6.15pm on Saturday, May 28, to a report of anti-social behaviour involving youths, including a fire being set, in the Meadowburn Avenue area of Lenzie.
"The fire was put out by the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service and no one was injured.
'Officers attended and the group was dispersed.”
