A popular street food vendor is bringing a taste of the Mediterranean to the city centre this week as they prepare to open a second location.
In great news for anyone who has been lucky enough to try some Greek-inspired treats from Feta Street Food, the team has now secured a coveted space at Merchant City Festival Village for summer.

In a Facebook post last night they said: "Our second site in Glasgow is @festivalvillage.merchantcity and we launch on THURSDAY.
"We’ll be opening Thursday-Sunday from 12 pm until late and will extend these hours once summer hits us in full swing."
"The trailer will be closed this week for some maintenance but we’re open at Festival Village all weekend!!
"Pints and gyros in the sunshine is finally happening - tag the mates you’re bringing down!"

Feta Street Food first found a home for their small-but-mighty trailer by the banks of the River Clyde in February of this year.

Co-owner Calvin Crichton said at the time: “We do spend a lot of time on the menu trying to get it right.
“The honey bites are dynamite, and then there’s our house sauce.
“It’s bright pink and almost like a chilli mayo. I can’t tell you the recipe though, it’s a wee house secret.
"One of the best things about having the trailer is being able to take the time and chat to people rather than just flinging the food out, it’s nice to give people a little customer service."
A portion of honey bites and an ice-cold cocktail sounds like the perfect pairing for a sunny summer afternoon to us and we wish Calvin and Chris the best of luck in their new spot.
