TRIBUTES have poured in after a Glasgow table tennis club announced the death of one of their beloved coaches.
Drumchapel Table Tennis Club made the announcement this afternoon that coach and player Tommy McFadden had passed away in the early hours of the morning, June 2.
Known affectionately as 'Wee Tommy', he was regarded as a "great servant" to their community-led club.
The club added that Tommy "gave everybody the time of day no matter their age or ability.
"He was the nicest guy you could ever meet, with a wicked sense of humour including his quick one-liners!
"He will be sorely missed by everyone at the club. Our thoughts are with Tommy’s family at this time."
