A PEDESTRIAN path in the city's Garnethill has been closed off by the police who appear to be investigating an incident this morning.
A long stretch which sits in an area between Buccleuch Street and Renfrew Street has been taken over by the force.
Uniformed officers stand guard at the staircase of the path preventing members of the public from accessing the area. Detectives have also arrived at the scene and are scouring the location.
The force only said that they are in the area in relation to an ongoing enquiry. They added that they were providing no further details at this time.
A picture posted on social media by the Garnethill Neighbourhood Watch (GNW) shows the path connecting the Hill Street viewpoint to Renfrew street cordoned off.
One local told The Glasgow Times: "I didn't see or hear anything last night or this morning out of the ordinary."
