A POPULAR Glasgow pop-up restaurant has been nominated for a prestigious award.
The Scottish Street Food Awards, held next weekend, will see ten talented traders from across the country compete.
Glasgow-based Kochchi, which specialises in Sri Lankan food, is facing stiff competition from other pop-ups like Edinburgh-based Lemon Squeezy, Ox & Anchor of Pittenween and reigning street food champions Antojitos Food Truck.
Kochchi has delighted Glaswegians at events like Big Feed and TRNSMT and offers delicacies like chicken Kotthu, hot butter cauliflower and fried cuttlefish.

The Scottish winners will have the opportunity to compete in the British Street Food Awards finals, and potentially go on to the 2022 European Street Food Awards in Munich.
For the first time, there will also be an American event, allowing local vendors to showcase their food on a world stage.
The Scottish Street Food Awards will be held between Friday, June 10 and Sunday, June 12 at Pitt Street, Edinburgh.
