A MAN has died after taking unwell on a busy road in Glasgow.
Emergency services rushed to Battlefield Road yesterday evening in the Southside of the city after the alarm was raised that a person had become unwell.
Two police cars, a police van and an ambulance were seen at the corner of Battlefield Road and Sinclair Drive.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene, and it is understood that his death is not being treated as suspicious.
A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
Officers did not give details of the man's age.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We received report of a man having taken unwell in Battlefield Road, Glasgow around 7.30pm on Saturday, June 4, 2022.
"Emergency services attended, however, the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
"The death is not suspicious and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal."
