SINGING legend Sir Rod Stewart has revealed why he felt 'uncomfortable' singing Sweet Caroline at the Jubilee concert.
The 77-year-old rocker told crowds on Saturday that the BBC 'made him' sing the Neil Diamond hit and urged them to join in to make him more comfortable singing it.
In an interview by BBC Entertainment News, Rod later explained that the broadcasting company asked him to perform the song.
He said: "It wasn't my choice, but you know."
The reporter then said: "But it's a great song, isn't it?"
To which the singer replied: "Yeah, but it's not one of mine."

It appeared that Rod would have preferred to perform one of his own hits to wrap up his performance at Buckingham Palace.
He also joked that the Queen herself called him and asked him to perform Baby Jane.
The singer was joined by other artists including Mabel and Craig David for the landmark event to mark the Queen's Platinum Jubilee celebrations.
