MARTIN COMPSTON has delighted fans after he shared a photo of him reunited with the Line of Duty team.
The Greenock-born actor, who plays DI Steve Arnott in the drama series, posted a picture on Instagram of him with co-stars Vicky McClure and Adrian Dunbar alongside the show's creator Jed Mercurio.
He captioned the photo: "Chatting tattoo designs."
The photo sent fans wild as they speculated whether a seventh series is on the cards.
One commented: "Mother of God let's hope [for] another series."
Another wrote: "Series 7, here we come."
One Instagram follower said: "This better be what I think it is."
Even more famous followers got involved, with former Rangers star Kenny Miller commenting: "What a team."
Actor Ross McCall, who is a Hoops fan like Martin, wrote: "I don't get it. Celtic is the only convo."
Despite series six appearing to wrap things up and solve the identity of H, the bent cop working high in the ranks of the police force, fans have been calling for the return of AC-12.
