FIREFIGHTERS were called to a bin on fire in Glasgow's city centre.
The incident happened on Osborne Street, near St Enoch around 1.30pm today.
Pictures show one fire engine on the scene as firefighters worked to put the blaze out.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service has confirmed that the fire was extinguished and the area is now safe.

A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “We were alerted at 1.26pm on Monday, June 13 to reports of a bin on fire in Osborne Street, Glasgow.
“Operations control immediately mobilised an appliance to the location and firefighters extinguished the fire.
“Crews left the scene after ensuring the area was made safe.”
Police Scotland has been approached for comment.
