A CARNIVAL inspired by New York's Coney Island is set to come to Glasgow.
Summer Beach Festival, by Clyde Island, will take place in the NCP King Street car park this summer.
The event will run between Friday, July 15 and Sunday, August 7, from 10am to 10pm.
Aiming to bring the seaside to the city centre, the carnival will feature artisan food and drink, live entertainment, fairground rides and attractions with a cocktail bar.
Visitors will be able to enjoy a selection of thrill, family and children’s rides, including a 42m giant wheel.
