ACTIVISTS have disrupted an investment company's road show at a city centre hotel.
Extinction Rebellion Scotland has protested at Vanguard's Sustainable Life roadshow at the Grand Central Glasgow Hotel to draw attention to what they claim is the company's role in "funding the climate crisis".
Climate activists inside the roadshow disrupted a presentation by asking questions and giving statements on Vanguard's investments.
They also held banners saying "Unregulated Unaccountable Unstoppable" and "Vanguard: invested in climate destruction".
Another group of protestors gathered outside the hotel with fire alarms to "sound the alarm" on the company's investments and a banner reading "Vanguard invests billions in fossil fuels".
Vanguard declined to comment on the protest.
