South Lanarkshire Council is notifying residents of essential resurfacing works in East Kilbride at the end of this month.
St Leonards Road will be closed from its junction at Morrishall Road to Calderglen Road from Monday to Friday, June 27 to July 1.
The closure will be in place for the duration of the works and access to the properties within the road closure will be maintained, although delays should be expected.

A diversion route will be in place and will be via St Leonards Road, Maxwellton Road and Calderwood Road.
Chair of the council’s Community and Enterprise Resources Committee, Councillor Robert Brown, said: “We apologise in advance for any inconvenience these essential roadworks may cause.
“Please avoid the area if you can, and if you cannot we would ask that all road users allow additional time for their journeys and plan ahead accordingly.
“I am sure when the works are completed road users will appreciate the improvements and I thank them in advance for their patience.”
