A man has tragically died after his quad bike crashed into a headstone in a North Glasgow cemetery.
Emergency services rushed to Lambhill Cemetery on Tresta Road following reports of a man on a quad bike colliding with a headstone at 6am on Sunday.
The 36-year-old man, understood to be from Cadder, sustained serious injuries and was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.
He was pronounced dead a short time later.

Police Scotland has confirmed that an investigation was launched following the incident.
A force spokesperson said: “At 6am on Sunday, June 12, 2022, Police Scotland received a report of a collision between a quad bike and a structure within the cemetery on Tresta Road, Glasgow.
"The 36-year-old male rider of the vehicle sustained serious injuries and was transported by ambulance to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead a short time later.
"Enquiries into the incident are ongoing."
Glasgow City Council is responsible for the cemetery. It is understood that a headstone was damaged during the crash.

A Glasgow City Council spokesperson said: “This is a police matter and it would be inappropriate to comment further at this time.”
The Scottish Ambulance Service was approached for comment.
