A SECTION of a busy road near Glasgow Royal Infirmary is to be closed for works.
Wishart Street, located by the hospital, between Alexandra Parade and John Knox Street, will be shut to allow resurfacing works.
The restriction will be in place from 8am tomorrow until 8am on Friday, June 17.
During these hours, no vehicles will be allowed on the road.

Diversions will be as follows:
- Westbound: Castle Street – Cathedral Square - John Knox Street
- Eastbound: Craigpark – Duke Street – John Knox Street
- Northbound: John Knox Street – Cathedral Square – Castle Street – Alexandra Parade
Drivers are advised to find alternate routes and avoid the area if possible.
