THE ANNUAL celebration of the Scottish curry industry was held on Monday in Glasgow.
Organised by Oceanic Consulting, the event recognised the best curry restaurants in the country.
Held for the 14th time, the event took place at the Glasgow Mariott Hotel.

Here is the full list of winner in and around Glasgow:
- Outstanding Indian Takeaway of the Year: The Original Mr Chef (Uddingston)
- Curry Champions of the Year: Dalshannon Farm (Cumbernauld)
- Best of Glasgow: Akbar’s (Glasgow)
- New Restaurant of the Year: Curry Cottage (Glasgow)
- Takeaway of the Year Glasgow: The Red Tiffin Takeaway (Glasgow)
- Takeaway of the Year Overall Winner: Maska (Cumbernauld)
- Curry Restaurant of the Year South West: Classic India (Milngavie)
- Restaurant of the Year South West: The Indian Scene (Paisley)
- Curry Entrepreneurs of the Year: Deepak Shrestha and Jagannath Dhakal (Himalayan Dine, Glasgow)
- Curry Queen: Ranjit Kaur (Ranjit’s Kitchen, Glasgow)
Curry Entrepreneurs of the Year Deepak Shrestha and Jagannath Dhakal from the Shawlands restaurant said: "We aim to provide fresh and quality food to our customers and will maintain the same standard throughout.
"Thanks to all our customers for your love and support.
"Cheers to everyone."
