A POPULAR Glasgow restaurant has announced its closure for the summer.
The team at Caprese Don Costanzo in the city's West End took to social media to tell customers that they would be taking a month-long break.
The restaurant will be closed from July 3 and re-open on August 3.
A message from the staff read: "What an amazing year we have had! Now time for a break. The restaurant will be closed from July 3 and re-opening again on August 3.
"We would just like to wish everyone a great summer and thank you for the support this year it’s been incredible."
They also teased a new venture that they would be starting when the much-loved Italian eatery re-opens.
Caprese Don Costanzo plans to sell their own sauces from the restaurant.
The message continued: "@capresesauces will also drop in August selling from the premises.
"So stay tuned for the release date."
The Woodlands venue has shown to be popular with famous faces including Celtic player Jota, as well as his manager Ange Postecoglou and Rangers legend Graeme Souness who stopped by in March of this year.
Hollywood actor Brendan Fraser even dined there in January while he was in Glasgow filming Batgirl.
