RANGERS legend Alex McLeish bumped into a very famous fellow Eagles fan at the band's Hyde Park gig. 

The Glasgow-born footballing great was delighted to meet Hollywood actor Tom Cruise at the concert on Sunday evening.

Alex posted a photo of the pair on his Instagram account.

He wrote: "Great to meet @tomcruise at Hyde Park this evening. @eagles." 

The former Rangers manager added an aeroplane emoji in reference to the actor's iconic role as pilot Maverick in the Top Gun film series.

Followers were quick to comment on the post, with one saying: "Great picture Alex."

Another wrote: "He's a lucky guy he met a Rangers legend." 

Another fan who expressed their excitement at meeting the Mission: Impossible star was Welsh singer Kelly Jones of the band Stereophonics. 

He also shared a photo of their encounter on social media, and wrote: "To see The Eagles with my brother was so good, but Tom Cruise as usual made us all feel good!

He added: "What a gentleman! What a night. I'm genuinely in teenage confusion!"
