GLASGOW cafes have dominated this year's Scottish Cafe Awards, with several venues winning top prizes.
The awards ceremony, held on the evening of June 27, hosted over 200 professionals in the hospitality industry to celebrate the best cafes in the country.
City centre coffee shop Cafe Calla took home the gong for Best of Glasgow, and they thanked their loyal customers in a heartfelt social media post.
They wrote: "We are absolutely over the moon to have won Best of Glasgow again and Highly Commended for Best Caffè Food.
"It's been a hard 2 years for hospitality and have had to diversify a lot and work every hour just to stay open.
"Well done to everyone who attended last night for still being here.
"Thank you to all of our customers and everyone who voted for us we are completely overwhelmed we won Best of Glasgow in 2018 and now have it back."

Family-run Rawlings Love to Eat in Cardonald earned Best Cafe Food, while ice-cream and churros experts Loop and Scoop on Great Western Road won Dessert Parlour of the Year.
Popular Dennistoun cafe Scran took home the prize for Local Cafe of the Year.
Meanwhile, Alessio's in Kirkintilloch won Bistro of the Year, and Rouken Glen Garden Centre in Giffnock took home Garden Cente Cafe of the Year.
A spokesperson for the awards said: “Although on our third year, we are honoured by the fantastic response we have had from the public who was so keen to vote for their favourite cafés.
“The cafe industry has grown massively over the past years and we aimed to seek out, reward and thank those who have managed to make a real difference by introducing innovation in this industry.
“The awards also aimed to acknowledge everything that is coffee related and showcase that Scottish people are big coffee lovers.
"It was lovely to be part of this celebration and we would like to congratulate all finalists and winners for their achievements!”
