A THIRD person has been charged in connection with a disturbance.
We previously reported that a 34-year-old man and 33-year-old woman had been arrested and charged in connection with the alleged incident.
Officers rushed to Rockburn Crescent in Bellshill early in the morning of June 26, where a 58-year-old man was found injured.
He was taken to Wishaw General Hospital for treatment.
Now cops have confirmed that a third person, a man, has been charged and is due to appear in court.
They did not give details of his age.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "A third person has been arrested and charged in relation to a disturbance at Rockburn Crescent, Hattonrigg, Bellshill, on Sunday, June 26, 2022.
"The man will appear in court today."
