CALVIN HARRIS fans have shared their 'nightmare' experiences getting home from his Hampden gig on Saturday.
Concert-goers struggled with the lack of public transport after the music stopped at 11pm, with no trains running from nearby Mount Florida or in and out of the city centre due to ScotRail's reduced temporary timetable.
DJ Garry Spence took to Twitter to ask people how they managed after the gig, branding the transport situation 'an absolute joke'.
Genuine question. How did 40,000+ people get back from Hampden last night after the Calvin Harris concert? I didn’t go because it’s hard enough at the best of times and it makes me so angry that we live like this in 2022. An absolute joke.

He received responses from numerous fans and parents, who told of taking hours to get home and seeing people walk along the hard shoulder of the motorway.
One fan replied: "Finally got home at 2am. We helped 2 upset young girls from Durham eventually get a taxi back to their hotel in Newton Mearns.
"They were told by officials to walk to town to get to a taxi rank.
"Hoping they won’t be put off ever coming back to Glasgow again."
Another, who made the journey to Hampden from Dundee, said they got home at 2.30am, adding: "however Calvin Harris was amazing!"

However, some fans also shared some more positive experiences of their night.
One wrote: "We parked up a wee side street and out via Rutherglen. Was a great night."
Another said: "I drove got there, parked very close, out no problem. Had the best night sober, just fun with my girls and enjoyed and absorbed the atmosphere. Absolutely amazing!!"
