A WELL-KNOWN Glasgow hotel will receive a new name.
The Jurys Inn on Jamaica Street is set to be rebranded as a Leonardo Hotel.
Planning papers show the hotel group have applied for permission to erect 10 new signs on their building which is in the city centre.

Reports earlier this year revealed that Jury Inn hotels were to be rebranded to Leonardo hotels.
Jury Inns joined the Fattal Hotel Group in 2017 and have been operating under the Jurys Inn and Leonardo brand since then.

All 35 Jurys Inn hotels were expected to make the transition at the end of the year as part of a wider expansion plan for the business.
The first hotel under the Jurys Inn name opened in Galway, Ireland in 1993.
A decision is expected on the planning application by August 22. The last date for comments is July 7.
