ACTIVISTS have climbed onto the roof of a factory in Glasgow causing 'severe damage' and forcing staff to evacuate.
Four protestors from Palestine Action Scotland made their way to the roof at Thales UK in Govan in the early hours of the morning.
The group say that they have done 'severe damage' to the site facilities and prevented site operations, resulting in Thales workers evacuating.

They claim that "Thales is one of the world’s largest arms companies, producing military drones, armoured vehicles, missile systems and more.
"Amongst the assorted warfare-related hardware made by Thales, the Watchkeeper drone project stands out.
"The project seeks to further the policing and surveillance of captive populations belonging to the nations of Iraq, Palestine and Afghanistan."
Posts on PAS' Twitter page also refers to Thales as a 'killer weapons factory' and say they are 'smashing' the premises.
One protestor could be seen standing on the roof holding a hammer.
Police Scotland confirmed that they were at the scene and had been since 5.20am this morning.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 5.20am on Monday, July 11, 2022 police were called to a report of a demonstration within the grounds of a business premises on Linthouse Road, Govan, Glasgow.
"Officers remain at the scene.
"Police Scotland is a rights-based organisation that puts our values of integrity, fairness, respect and a commitment to upholding human rights at the heart of everything we do.
"We have a duty under the European Convention on Human Rights to protect the rights of people who wish to peacefully protest or counter protest balanced against the rights of the wider community."
Thales has been contacted for comment.
