A BLIND man has admitted attacking two young girls to their injury.
Paul Nicol, 45, assaulted the pair at his former home in Glasgow's Cardonald between January 2019 and February 2020.
Court papers state the first girl was seven-years-old when she was repeatedly struck on the body.
The next charge says the second girl was nine-years-old when she was struck on the body.
Nicol, now of Falkirk, Stirlingshire, appeared with a guide dog and wore protective glasses in the dock.
He pleaded guilty today to the two charges at Glasgow Sheriff Court.
It was revealed Nicol has previous convictions - the last of which he received an absolute discharge.
Nicol's lawyer Gerry Devanney said: "He has been taking steps in relation to alcohol and that will come out in a background report.
"He is no longer at the address that is on the charge."
Sentence was deferred pending background reports by Sheriff Gerard MacMillan.
More information regarding the circumstances of the offence will also be heard.
Nicol is ordained to appear.
