A vegan festival will take place this year attracting more than 60 stalls, world food caterers and free samples.
Vegan Events UK will host the event in Glasgow City Lacrosse Club in Bellahouston on Saturday, October 8 between 10.30am and 4.30pm.
Festival organiser Victoria Bryceson said: “I’m really pleased to announce a new autumn Vegan Festival in Glasgow. I’m really looking forward to the event.
"We received so much positive feedback from the spring event and there’s now so much demand that this festival is becoming a sell-out event. I think it’s partly because people really love the friendly atmosphere.
"The wonderful thing about the festival is that it’s for everyone whatever your lifestyle. Just come along and bring your friends for a great, fun day out. You’ll have everything you need there, whether you’re looking for some retail therapy, some ‘me’ time, precious family time or just a lovely meal out with some friends.”
Glasgow Vegan Festival is an indoor event, with entry free for those under 16. It provides a one-stop shop for vegan products with stalls including vegan toiletries, fashion, food, pet products, jewellery, shoes, and makeup - and many items are unavailable on the high street or in supermarkets.
Entry is £5 payable per day on the door (under 16s free) or £15 for VIP tickets in advance from Eventbrite to include fast track entry and a goody bag full of vegan products, samples, discounts and offers.
