A woman has been taken to hospital after a late night 'assault' in Glasgow city centre.
Police responded to reports of an incident on Argyle Street shortly after 11 pm last night.It happened at the Four Corners area.
A 28-year-old woman was found to be injured and was later rushed to the Glasgow Royal Infirmary.
There has been no further information provided regarding her condition at this time.
It is understood that a section of the street at the 'four corners' remained taped off late into the night as police carried out enquiries.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Officers received a report of an assault at Argyle Street in Glasgow which happened at around 11.10 pm on Wednesday, July 20, 2022.
"A 28-year-old woman was taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary for treatment.
"Enquiries are ongoing.”
