A SEARCH for two suspects is underway following a serious assault in the city's East End.
The incident took place on Inveresk Street in Greenfield at around 5.25pm on Thursday, July 21 and an 18-year-old man was taken to Queen Elizabeth University hospital for treatment.
Officers are now appealing for witnesses of the assault, which they believe was carried out by two men, to come forward.

Detective Sergeant Mairi MacDonald of Glasgow CID said: "We are appealing to anyone who may have seen the assault or nearby drivers with dashcam footage to get in touch with us.
"Anyone with information should contact officers on 101 quoting incident number 2793 of July 21, 2022."
Both suspects are said to be aged between 18 and 25.
The first is described as white with a slim build and dark hair and was wearing a black t-shirt and black shorts.
The second is described as having a tanned complexion and short dark hair, and was wearing a light blue t-shirt and dark jogging bottoms.
