A man has been rushed to hospital this afternoon following a 'disturbance' in Glasgow's East End.
At around 1 pm today, officers were called to the Bridgeton Cross area after receiving reports of an incident.
A 49-year-old man was found to be injured and was later taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.
Police remain at the scene now and say that enquiries are ongoing.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Officers were called to a report of a disturbance in the Bridgeton Cross area of Glasgow around 1pm on Tuesday, August 2, 2022.
"A 49-year-old man has been taken by ambulance to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.
"Officers are at the scene and enquiries are ongoing."
