A car was 'deliberately' set on fire in a residential area of Glasgow this morning.
Police were called to Gifford Drive in North Cardonald at around 1 am following reports of a vehicle that had been set alight.

Scottish Fire and Rescue Crews were quick to tackle the blaze and no injuries have been reported as a result of the incident.

Police have now said that they are treating the fire as wilful and are appealing for any witnesses.
A police spokesperson said: "Anyone who saw what happened, has dash cam or CCTV footage of the area at the time or any information about the incident, is asked to contact police.
