A GLASGOW restaurant has put its own spin on the iconic Colin the Caterpillar cake.
The Marks and Spencer sponge cake creation has been reimagined into a cannolo, an Italian sweet treat by Merchant City spot Nonna Said.
Posting on the Colin the Caterpillar official Instagram page, 'Colin' shared their delight at the homage.
The post read: "Colin the... Cannolo? Why not? It's the perfect summer treat! Who'd want to try one?"
One replied: "Omg looks so good!"
While another said: "Wow."
The team from Nonna Said then added: "We took inspiration from the best."
Colin the Cannolo was a limited edition dessert at the popular pizzeria, but it is hoped that it will make a return after going down a treat with customers.
One foodie said that they were "obsessed" with it, while another said it was "so cute".
