A POPULAR Glasgow bakery is celebrating one year in the West End.
Lily Bakes Cakes, which can often be found with a long queue out the door on Friday and Saturdays, opened its shop on Hyndland Street in Partick last year.
The green and pink bakery was previously located in Maryhill.
In a post on Instagram, bosses announced they will be celebrating on year in their new shop with free cake for customers.
The post read: "One whole year of our little shop on Hyndland Street.
"Thank you so each and every one of you who has made this possible.
"We are open 11am-4pm today with free cake for our customers (until it runs out)."
Fans of the bakery filled the comments with happy birthday messages.
One person said: "Yay. We love Lily Bakes Cakes.
"So happy for you two, big congrats."
Another wrote: "Well done, Happy Birthday for the shop."
A third person added: "Happy birthday. You are doing great."
