SHOCKING images show the devastating aftermath of a fire that ravaged a former care home in Clydebank.
Emergency services raced to the scene of a blaze at Frank Downie House on Saturday evening, shortly after 9.30pm.
The following day, fire appliances remained on the scene with firefighters attending to the wreckage.
Fire service tape has cordoned off the surrounding area as emergency crews continue to tackle the fire.
Uniformed fire wardens were pictured hosing the building hours after the blaze, which resulted in nearby residents being evacuated.
It is understood that evacuated residents have since returned to their homes.
We previously reported that locals had been warned to stay away and keep windows and doors closed as flames engulfed the former care home.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service confirmed that there were no injuries.
