A DRIVER has been hospitalised after a motorbike collided with a car in Glasgow.
Reports on social media told of the motorbike crashing into the side of a car in Balmore Road in the city's North this evening.
One local commented that there were police and two ambulances at the scene, adding "it's a car and motorbike right into side of car looks bad."
Another said: "Motorbike has went into side of red car just passed it."
Cops confirmed that they were called to the collision shortly after 5pm and that one driver was taken to hospital.
A man will be reported in connection with road traffic offences.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “At around 5.20pm on Monday, August 8, 2022 we received a report of a crash involving a car and a motorcycle on Balmore Road, Glasgow.
“The driver of one of the vehicles was taken to hospital for treatment.
“One man will be reported in connection with road traffic offences.
“Recovery for both vehicles was arranged and the road did not close."
