A CAR was deliberately set on fire outside a house in Renfrew last week.
Police are investigating after a Vauxhall Corsa parked outside a house on Lang Avenue was set alight.
Thugs poured accelerant over it and set it ablaze, causing 'significant' damage.
The incident occured around 3am on August 3.

Detective Constable Steven Lessels, Paisley CID, said: “Thankfully on this occasion no one was injured and the fire did not spread to the house.
“Officers have been checking CCTV and making local enquiries but are still keen to hear from anyone who may have seen anything suspicious around the vehicle between 2.50 am and 3am last Wednesday morning.
“If you were in the area and have any dash-cam footage from around that time, then please get in touch with police.”
