THREE teens have been charged in connection with an alleged assault in an underpass.
Cops were called to a report of the alleged attack near Centre Roundabout in East Kilbride on Monday evening.
They have since arrested three male youths, one aged 13 and two aged 14, in connection.
They will appear in court on September 6.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 5.20pm on Monday, August 8, 2022, officers were called to a report of an assault in the underpass near the Centre Roundabout, East Kilbride.
"A 16-year-old male youth was taken to University Hospital Hairmyres for treatment and later released.
“Three male youths, one aged 13 and two aged 14, have been arrested and charged in connection with the incident and due to appear at Hamilton Sheriff Court on Tuesday, September 6, 2022.”
