TRAINS in Glasgow are currently delayed due to today's high temperatures.
The ScotRail website is reporting a number of "minor disruptions" to services to and from Glasgow.
The company is warning passengers that it is expecting delays to last until this evening.

A warning reads: "Because of a speed restriction because of high track temperatures trains have to run at reduced speed.
"Disruption is expected to last until around 8pm today."
Due to the hot weather, @NetworkRailSCOT has had to impose the following speed restrictions, delaying some services.

The following services will be affected:
• Glasgow Central and Edinburgh via Carstairs
• Glasgow Central and Edinburgh via Shotts.

The routes affected so far are:
- Edinburgh Waverley - Glasgow Central via Carstairs
- Edinburgh Waverley - Glasgow Central via Shotts
- Helensburgh Central - Bathgate - Edinburgh
Temperatures in Glasgow are expected to reach 24C degrees today, but Friday and Saturday are predicted to be even hotter, with a maximum of 26C.
ScotRail has been contacted for comment.
