A MAN has been arrested after a child was hit by a car on a North Glasgow road.
Emergency services were called to Hillend Road, in Lambill, at around 3.30pm yesterday following a report of a crash involving a car and a pedestrian.
A 5-year-old boy was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital with serious injuries.

Police have now confirmed a 51-year-old man has been arrested in connection with other road traffic offences.
An investigation into what happened remains ongoing.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "At around 3.30pm on Friday, August 12, 2022, officers received a report of a crash involving a car and a five-year-old pedestrian.
"The boy was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment for serious injuries.
"A 51-year-old man was arrested in connection with other road traffic offences and enquiries are ongoing into the circumstances."
