A watersports complex in North Glasgow celebrated a significant upgrade to make it more accessible.
The Pinkston facility, which is a legacy of the 2014 Commonwealth Games, recently added a pontoon, hoist, and adaptive equipment to enable more people to visit.
Offering different activities, including paddleboarding, whitewater rafting, canoeing, kayaking and more, the centre welcomes local groups and residents alike.
It is involved in community outreach and aims to promote accessible watersports.
Glasgow's lord provost, councillor Jacqueline McLaren, cut the ribbon at the start of the event on Wednesday, which was also attended by representatives of North Glasgow organisations, sportscotland, Scottish Canals and more.
With an artificial whitewater course, a water basin, meeting room and storage space, the complex is celebrated for being at the forefront of local leisure.
Situated along the River Clyde on North Canal Bank Street, Pinkston runs its own youth club and welcomes visitors every day.

Richard Millar, head of enterprise at Scottish Canals, said: "One of the things we really wanted to sort out was how can we get accessibility onto the water here and what you see here is £96,000 of third party funding, brought together over a very long time, a lot of hard work and two or three years in the making.
"To see it today, with people out there using it the way it was designed, has been an absolute transformation and more and more of that will be happening over the next few weeks.
"It sees around 300 people a day at this time of the year, lots of local kids building confidence and developing skills."

Councillor McLaren said Glasgow City Council is proud to support Pinkston in creating an environment where anyone is welcome to try the sports.
