Roads closed and police on scene of 'incident' at Morrisons supermarket
UPDATE: Emergency services have confirmed the incident.
AN area near a Morrisons supermarket has been cordoned off by police due to an ongoing 'incident'.
New Park Street and Auchinraith Avenue in Hamilton are currently closed to the public while the police deal with the incident at Morrisons supermarket.
South Lanarkshire Council informed locals of the closure on their social media pages.
Local diversions are in place.
The nature of the incident is not currently known.
Police Scotland and Morrisons have been contacted for comment.
