A NEW cafe could open in Glasgow city centre.
A planning application for change of use has been submitted to the council for a retail unit at 101A West Graham Street, the Glasgow Guild building in Garnethill.
The change of use is from Class 1, which includes all kinds of shops, to Class 3, food and drink.
Plans submitted reveal the cafe will have a seating area, customer toilets and an open fireplace.

Images showing the proposed front of the cafe show it will be called Tavo.
According to the documents, the facade will maintain existing painted and carved graphics as well as stained glass.
The application was submitted on August 11 and was validated last week.
A decision is expected to be reached on October 14, while the deadline to submit comments is September 15.
