A MAN has been arrested in connection with 'numerous' offences while driving on the M8.
Road policing officers were carrying out speed checks on the major motorway near Eurocentral in North Lanarkshire when they made the arrest.

A tweet by Road Policing Scotland read: "Lanarkshire Road Police were on the M8 at Eurocentral on Saturday afternoon carrying out speed enforcement.
"The pictures below show why this is a priority route for us."

Photos shared by Road Policing Scotland show a speed reading of 137mph while the other shows a positive test for the drugs.
The post added: "The 36-year-old male driver was arrested and will be reported for numerous offences."
