A NEW retailer opening its doors in Glasgow city centre will create 25 jobs.
We previously reported that shoe store Deichmann is opening soon on Argyle Street, replacing Next which closed in January.
The Sauchiehall Street chain of the footwear brand is currently displaying to-let signs.
A member of the Deichmann team has said that the city centre is an "important location" and that the new venue will create about 25 jobs.
They will open later in 2022.
A spokesperson said: "Glasgow’s city centre is an important location for Deichmann and I’m therefore extremely happy to say that we are on-site at a new location on Argyle Street with an expected opening date later this year.
"The store will create about 25 new roles."
