A PENSIONER is in 'serious condition' in hospital after being knocked down by a bus in Glasgow.
We previously reported that cops had locked down Govan Road on Friday afternoon after a 72-year-old man had been struck.
Officers are now probing the incident, in which the man was hit by a single-decker McGills bus.
The driver was a 64-year-old man.
He is now receiving treatment at Queen Elizabeth University Hospital and is in a serious yet stable condition.

The force confirmed that they are continuing to investigate the incident and are urging any witnesses and any passengers who were on the bus at the time to come forward.
Sergeant Chris Hoggans from the Divisional Road Policing Unit at Govan said: “Our investigation into this crash is continuing and I would appeal to anyone who witnessed this crash, or anyone on the bus at the time to contact us.
“Anyone with information should contact 101 with reference number 2163 of September 2.”
