Two men have been arrested in connection with 'drug offences' in Glasgow city centre today.
The arrests were made shortly after 2pm when police were called to George Square.
It has been confirmed that both men are 36 years old, however, no further information regarding the nature of the incident has been provided at this time.
A number of police vehicles remained at the scene throughout the afternoon and cops were seen speaking with members of the public as they carried out investigations.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Two men, both aged 36, have been arrested in connection with drug offences after officers were called to George Square in Glasgow around 2 pm on Monday, September 5, 2022.
"Enquiries are ongoing.”
