A North Glasgow bridge, which is almost ready, has been nominated for a prestigious award and voting is now open.
Stockingfield Bridge will connect the communities of Maryhill, Ruchill and Gilshochill and is due to be ready this autumn.
Created by local communities and artists, it will also be surrounded by artwork.
Now, it has been revealed that the structure has been nominated for an ICE South West Civil Engineering Award.

The shortlist for the People’s Choice Award was launched today and it includes the "fantastic-looking and technically complex structure".
Scottish Canals said: "The award showcases civil engineering projects which have a positive impact on local communities."
