Scottish Water has warned of upcoming road closures in the city's Southside which are scheduled to last for three months.

To allow for a pipe installation, a section of Netherplace Road and Brockburn Crescent, between the junction of Brockburn Road and Barrhead Road will be closed to traffic in phases starting from Monday, September 19.

Scottish Water has said that they have worked alongside Glasgow City Council and road traffic management to reduce the impact on parking for local residents.

A diversion route will be in operation and signposted.

Work will be carried out by the Caledonia Water Alliance as part of the Glasgow Resilience Project.

A spokesperson for Scottish Water said: "We apologise for any inconvenience and thank affected road users in advance for their patience and understanding."
