A Glasgow road was closed as a person was hospitalised this morning in Glasgow.
Emergency services attended Royston Road in Germiston this morning following the reports.
The road was closed as officers and ambulance workers arrived at the scene.
Police Scotland has confirmed that a man was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.
The road has since been reopened.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 6.40am on Thursday, September 8, officers were called to a concern for person on the M80 near to Royston Road.
"Officers attended and a man was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital. The road has since reopened."
