An investigation has been launched following an attempted murder in Glasgow.
Shortly before 10 pm last night, police were alerted of a disturbance at Westerhouse Road on Drochill Way.
A 53-year-old man was later rushed to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for medical treatment.
Westerhouse Road remains closed between Auchinlea Road and Bogbain Road as police carried out enquiries.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said : “At 9.50pm on Tuesday, September 13, 2022 officers received a report of an attempted murder at Westerhouse Road at Drochil Way in Glasgow.
"A 53-year-old man was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment and enquiries are ongoing.”
