One of Scotland's most talented filmmakers who has worked with Sir David Attenborough will appear in Glasgow at a special event.
Doug Allan, a longtime collaborator of the Frozen Planet presenter, has won eight Emmys and five BAFTAs for his work with Discovery, National Geographic, Blue Planet and more.
The photographer and filmmaker will take part in a Book Swap Brunch in Glasgow this November.

Avid readers will get the opportunity to - as the name suggests - swap books, enjoy brunch, and take part in a Q&A session with Doug.
The Fife-born wildlife cameraman will share tales of his expeditions with Sir David and his work on over 100 projects, including a 240-page picture book capturing the incredible Arctic and Antarctic Oceans.
The event is organised by Bookface, an online book group with 2300 members across the world.
Their founder Heather Suttie said: "Doug is a wonderful raconteur and passionate environmentalist.
"His experiences are awe-inspiring and guests will be able to buy a signed copy of ‘Freeze Frame’ Doug’s beautiful book and participate in the sustainable book swap with more than 300 titles to choose from.”

Doug spoke of his excitement ahead of the event and expects to share some exciting anecdotes.
He said: "Heather’s Book Swap Brunch is a great chance for me to enjoy a face-to-face with her bibliophilic followers.
"All the buzz of a live performance, answering any questions they have about wildlife filming and my book, and me talking about sharing a Mars bar with David Attenborough and a bed with Ewan McGregor.”
Tickets are priced at £30 which includes tea or coffee, prosecco, brunch and a Lillet cocktail.
Guests are encouraged to bring four books to participate in the book swap.
The event will be held on Saturday, November 26 at Glaschu Restaurant & Bar, 32 Royal Exchange Square, Glasgow, G1 3AB.
