A MAN has been charged following a 'disturbance' in Glasgow.
We previously reported that Victoria Road had been closed to traffic due to an "ongoing police incident" at around 3pm on Wednesday.
The force confirmed that officers had been called to a report of a disturbance in the area.
A 69-year-old man was rushed to hospital and a 35-year-old man was arrested.
Cops have now confirmed that he has been charged in connection with the alleged incident.
He will appear in court today.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We were called around 2.45pm on Wednesday, September 21, to a report of a disturbance in the Victoria Road area of Glasgow.
“Emergency services attended and a 69-year-old man was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment.
“A 35-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the incident. He is expected to appear at court on Thursday, September 22.”
